English Name:BL13-feishu
Lung Point

Naming Convention:
“Fei” means lung. “Shu” means point. This point is close to the lung, and is the place through which the qi of the lung infuses into the body surface. It is mainly indicated in lung disorders due to the invasion of exogenous pathogenic factors. Hence the name Feishu (Lung Point).

Location:
1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra.

Clinical Applications:
Cough (combine with Tiantu (CV22) and Shangzhong (CV17)).
Nasal discharge (combine with Yingxiang (LI20) and Shangxing (DU24)).
Asthma.
Hemoptysis.
Afternoon fever.
Night sweating.
Pain and cold sensations in the back.

Dispel heat.
Promote the lung’s function in dispersing qi.
Stop cough and asthma.
