BL27 Xiaochangshu

English Name:BL27-xiaochangshu
Small Intestine Point

Naming Convention:
This point is close to the small intestine and it is the place where the qi of the small intestine infuses into the body surface. It is a commonly selected point in the treatment of small intestine disorders, hence the name Xiaochangshu (Small Intestine Point).

Location:
1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 1st sacral vertebra.

Clinical Applications:
Lower abdominal pain and distention.
Dysentery.
Seminal emission.
Enuresis.
Profuse leukorrhea.
