Naming Convetion:
“He” means confluent. Weizhong is the He-sea point of the Urinary Bladder Meridian. The point is below Weizhong (BL40), being the place where the qi of the meridian reconverges. Hence the name Heyang (Confluent Yang).
Location:
Two cun directly below Weizhong (BL40), between the medial and lateral heads of the musculus gastrocnemius.
Clinical Applications:
Back pain.
Profuse uterine bleeding.
Aching and soreness of the lower extremities.
